Meet Andi Cabello, LMFT
Trauma-informed, bespoke therapy for creatives and highly sensitive adults in California
A quieter way of working.
I created The Listening Garden Psychotherapy as a response to therapy models that feel rushed, standardized, or impersonal. Here, therapy unfolds in a cultivated, steady space, one shaped around your nervous system, your history, and your values.
Healing here is thoughtful, creative, relational, and deeply personalized.
My Path & Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering private-pay trauma therapy and EMDR for adults across California.
As a British American who grew up in France, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work as a trauma-informed therapist. With a background in theatre and entertainment, I infuse my therapeutic work with creativity and curiosity. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and families across various settings, including community centers, schools, private practice, and intensive outpatient programs.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach that centers your sense of safety, choice, and inner steadiness. In our work together, you can expect therapy to feel:
Calm, unhurried, and deeply attentive
Gentle without being superficial
Thoughtful and emotionally precise
Grounded in your lived experience
Shaped around your nervous system and emotional rhythms
I listen closely to your inner world and craft our work around what your body, history, and pace are asking for. You should never be rushed, minimized, or asked to “push through.” Your therapy unfolds in a way that honors your depth while supporting meaningful, grounded change.
